  • Grasp the Invisible: Spiritual Coaching for Anxiety

A fresh perspective and solutions for those who experience anxiety.  Did you know that expereincing anxiety can be impacted by your auric field? …who would have thought?!

What does anxiety have to do with my aura?

I have always been an outgoing and sociable person. Perhaps part of the reason was my parents moved quite frequently when I was growing up so I learned to quickly adapt in order to make new friends. There was always an element of nervousness when meeting new people but I seemed to handle it fairly well.

As I got older something seemed to change. I found myself increasingly worried about meeting new people; I found it difficult to be in big crowds of people and challenging to adapt to any new work environments.  Simple tasks like attending workshops or social events became increasingly uncomfortable. I would often become worried about what I would say to keep a conversation going or whether others would like me.

Sometimes I would experience physical symptoms like a racing heart, sweaty palms, and a sense of restlessness. I also found myself overthinking and worrying about what others thought of me. Sometimes that worry would carry late into the evening as I lie awake staring at the ceiling.

I also experienced feeling drained and exhausted after being around people at work, or even when I was out at the shopping mall or grocery store. I’d often need to come home and lie down and I suffered from the onset of a headache. Needless to say, all of these physical and emotional experiences were making my life more difficult. I was finding myself not wanting to go out and feeling uncomfortable socializing or being around people in general.

Then I discovered something that was a ‘game changer’ for me.

I had been on a personal healing journey for some time and I was always reading, exploring and testing out healing tools. I just wanted to feel better so I could live better. As I began to study and experience energy in different ways I discovered we all have an auric field and the shape and size of it can impact how we experience life day to day.

The auric field is often referred to as the “aura” . It is an invisible energy field or subtle electromagnetic field that surrounds and emanates from a living being such as a person or even plants and animals. After working with clients in energy healing sessions for some time I have discovered that the aura contains information about a person’s physical , emotional, mental and spiritual states. I have found that the aura also stores memories of a person’s life.

So what does a person’s aura have to do with whether or not a person feels anxious?

As an Intuitive healer, I have found that the size, shape and whether a person’s aura is damaged will impact how a person experiences life. To experience an overall sense of well- being there seems to be an optimal shape, size, and health to a person’s aura in order for them to feel their best.

Typically, what an optimal aura looks like is an aura that is egg-shaped and equally distributed above, below, behind, in front of and to the sides of your body. By experimenting I have come to believe that an aura radius of between two to three feet out from the physical body is the most desirable size, especially in public situations. A person maintaining an optimal aura size in public settings will feel more secure, confident, calm and in control. They will feel an overall sense of wellbeing.

In contrast, when a person’s aura is contracted and rests close to their physical body, approximately within a foot from the body, the person will tend to feel more uptight, fearful, anxious and separate/ disconnected from others.

A person’s aura that is overextended may expand anywhere from five feet to a dissipated half a mile. An overextended aura can result in spaciness, escapism, and a tendency to feel and take on everyone else’s emotions, thoughts and even pain in the entire area your aura covers. So if you can imagine, walking through a mall at Christmas time with an overextended aura, you can come to realize all of the different energies you are feeling and picking up from the people around you. This is why some people often feel a sense of exhaustion after being in large crowds of people.

By understanding your energy field and making some simple adjustments to your auric field you can avoid unnecessary emotions, physical symptoms and pain. For myself and many of my clients, we can attest that these simple changes are truly a “game changer”. With simple aura adjustments one can interact with others each day enjoying the benefits of connection and community without feeling anxious, fearful, or taking on other people’s negative emotions.
